Gant counts on MC Hungary

The premium lifestyle brand Gant has entrusted MEDIA CONSULTA with its integrated campaign in Hungary. MC Hungary has taken charge of the entire press work, event management, graphic design and the development of an innovative brand strategy for the Hungarian market.

In order to deliver a target group specific and consistent communications message, MC has developed a specific wording for the client. Gant has also entrusted MC with the organisation of several events, amongst others two shop openings. For these, MC designed the graphical materials, organised the catering and coordinated the invitation management of the journalists and the special guests. At a press luncheon, Gant’s CEO Dirk Jan Stoppelenburg provided background information to the journalists.

MC has also taken care of setting up and maintaining contacts to high profile fashion and design journalists and editors. At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week 2009, MC looked after the editors of the fashion magazines “Marie Claire” and “Elite” and was in charge of producing all press material. In addition, MC took responsibility for the screening of the most important fashion and design blogs.   

The Sweden-based clothing company Gant was originally established in the US and has been active in Hungary since 1999. Gant runs seven shops in Hungary and considers Tommy Hilfiger and Polo Ralph Lauren as competitors.
